About This Tool
The GPA Calculator computes your grade point average from a list of courses with their letter grades and credit hours. Add as many courses as you need, and the tool calculates both your semester GPA and cumulative GPA using the standard 4.0 scale.
Different institutions use slightly different grade point values, but the standard scale (A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.0) is the most common in North American universities. The calculator weights each course by its credit hours for an accurate GPA.
This tool is especially useful at midterm or end of semester when you need to know where you stand. You can also use it to project your GPA by entering expected grades for courses still in progress, helping you set realistic academic goals.
