About This Tool

The Character Map lets you explore thousands of Unicode characters organised into named categories. Use the search box to find characters by name or keyword — type "arrow", "copyright", or "degree" to filter the grid instantly. Each character tile shows the glyph in large text. Click a tile to copy the character to the clipboard and reveal its details: Unicode code point (U+XXXX), UTF-8 byte sequence in hex, HTML named entity or decimal entity, and the official Unicode name. A persistent copy buffer at the bottom lets you accumulate multiple characters before pasting them into your document. Categories covered include Basic Latin, Extended Latin, Currency symbols, Math operators, Arrows, Box Drawing, Dingbats, Emoji (subset), Greek and Cyrillic scripts, and more.
